Big thanks to everyone who donated supplies and/or money via gofundme.com! During Spring Break 2016, 7 students embarked on a medical mission trip to Jamaica. Here, we aided the Missionaries of the Poor in their work by administering to orphaned children, elderly, psychologically ill and HIV/AIDS patients. The goal of this medical mission trip was to expose students to the lack of developed healthcare systems outside of the United States and to inspire charity, volunteering and philanthropy beyond our comfort zones.
